Edmonton based photographer,
Rene Grosso, has been doing Fine Art Photography both commercially
and for exhibit since 1997. He has traveled extensively, taking
photographic images in such places as New Orleans, Utah, Montreal,
Czech Republic, Romania, Holland, India and most recently
in Egypt and Ethiopia.
Inspired by the quality
and medium of the Masters of Photography, Rene employs the
traditional methods of print processing and hand developing
in all of his photographs to insure their beauty, quality
and longevity. He works mostly in Black and White and occasionally,
when offered an appropriate situation or project, photographs
in Color.
Rene’s
images have appeared in local publications: SEE Magazine and
VUE Magazine, national publication: Salon Magazine and international
publications: Drum Magazine (US) and Eastern Eye Magazine
(UK) Alternative Trends Magazine (Can). His photographs have
been on exhibit at Kamina Gallery, The Fringe Gallery, Café
La Gare, Fuss Art of Hair, Hip Salon, Lines and Legends Hair
Salon, The Sugar Bowl Café and at The Global Visions
Film Festival to name a few. Currently Rene is working on
a Black and White collection of images taken in Ethiopia during
the spring and summer of 2006; it is expected to be ready
for presentation this summer.
Specializing in Fashion,
Portraiture, Wedding, Music, Commercial, Industrial, Family,
Travel, Headshots, and Custom Printing Services, Rene is available
